We are taught to work hard, to make a lot of money and in the process we become our jobs. Do we live in a system that can sometimes be kind of a prison? When you ask someone ‘What do you do?’ the answer is always ‘I work at so and so company’. Why is it never ‘I sing, I dance, I daydream’? Our job becomes our identity, why are we defined, validated or labeled by our jobs? Is the basis of who we are lost?
